Sharing Hope - Orange Blossom

Sharing Hope is a weekly link collection for anyone who has some hope to share or is needing hope. Everyone is invited to share images and words of hope. For now I'll be using the same linky each week so we can gather lots of hope together but even if you've added a link in previous weeks you are more than welcome to add more each time. Please add a button or a link to Sharing Hope in your posts so others can visit and join in. Find out more about Sharing Hope and how to get a button here.

This is the blossom outside our kitchen window. Despite the post title it's not orange blossom (a symbol of fertility) but it is orange (the colour of fertility).

  1. In case you were wondering the plant you have a picture of is called Kerria Japonica 'Pleniflora' it's a member of the Rose fmaily.

I have a small one growing by my shed, it should get large enough to hide at least part of the shed.
It's one of the first things to flower in our garden, very cheerful plant.

  2. Thanks Techno-mole, I didn't know the name of this plant before. I too love that it flowers at the beginning of spring and is so cheerful. This one is quite large and is lovely to look at out of our kitchen window. As it's just this plant between the window and the street it also gives us some privacy as well as being pretty! :)
